Role Purpose:
To strategize, develop & implement the external communication to promote group vision & strategy. To position, create awareness & market the brand. To lead the strategy on brand and its products and services
Key Accountabilities
- To lead and manage the Brand - Lead development and execution of in-country annual marketing campaigns & plans with assistance and input from all business heads of the bank. Related activities include development of marketing briefs,
- Take the lead on business unit IBG - to understand and address the requirements. Deliver a marketing plan, targeting value driven customers for each business segment. The focus will continue to remain on delivery of marketing elements, and help creating brand awareness
- Actively build the brand through strategic alliances, targeted activities and events (NASSCOM, CFO Forum, Leadership Summit etc) for leads generation and adding value for customers. Build value generating loyalty and incentive programs and initiatives for customers - enabling a tangible and discretely different value delivery perspective as compared to competition.
- Arrange & Manage events, collateral support & logistics around the launch of campaigns in-country, including creating plans for distribution of materials and communication to the branch and other networks
- Manage and lead the team
- Connect the dots and drive the key messages and the narrative of group through content marketing
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensuring customer connect through establishment of a communication channel with customers e.g. Customer newsletter/mailer.-
- Contribute to the design of the format and target audience for customer events. Own the process for the design of invitations, look and feel, entertainment and all other items related to the event to ensure that it promotes the correct messages and that it complies with brand standards
- Research/ observe competitor marketing campaigns and make on how plans can be improved for local market conditions taking into account the competitor environment.
- Product & Process Training to be imparted directly & through appointed staff & agencies to ensure the thorough understanding of brand positioning & product offerings.
- Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are complied with before launching any marketing campaigns or using brands or messages or text from outside.
- Ensuring that team members in the agency partners are motivated to deliver in strict timelines.
- Understand data and convert them into insights and action plans
Requirements :
Experience :
- At least 12 years executing marketing activities
- Experience of delivering client communications material and/ or campaigns in the financial services industry-
- Formal qualification such as MBA /Marketing diploma from a premier institute or compensating experience.
