Senior Vice President - Finance - FMCG

Position Overview:

As the Senior Vice President of Finance, you will play a key strategic role in our organization, overseeing all financial activities and driving the financial performance of the company. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and collaborate closely with other senior executives, providing financial guidance, analysis, and insights to support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives and market trends.

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.

- Identify and evaluate potential risks, opportunities, and financial implications for the organization.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare and present timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reports to senior management, the Board of Directors, and stakeholders.

- Analyze financial data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the company's financial health and provide actionable insights.

- Develop and monitor financial models and metrics to track performance against targets.

Financial Operations and Controls:

- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and audit functions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

- Establish and maintain effective internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Strategic Decision Support:

- Provide financial expertise and guidance in evaluating and executing strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.

- Conduct financial due diligence, assess financial viability, and perform financial modeling to support investment decisions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases and provide financial insights for new product launches, market expansions, and cost optimization efforts.

Stakeholder Management:

- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, regulatory authorities, and auditors.

- Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior leadership, offering financial insights and recommendations to drive growth and profitability.

- Represent the company in financial negotiations, meetings, and industry forums.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- MBA in Finance/ CA (preferred)

- Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably within the FMCG industry or a similar multinational environment.

- Proven track record in financial strategy development, planning, and execution.

- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and control practices.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
