Hiring for- Chief Representative
Grade Band: Senior Vice President

Reports to: Head - Affluent Banking & International Business
Role Details:
- An individual to manage the Dubai Representative office of The Bank.
- Mandated to develop relations and alliances with the other Banks in the region and act as a liaison between the representative office and head office along with representing the bank with the UAE regulatory authorities.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with other institutions.
- Maintaining reports and books for the operations of the UAE entity.
Overall Job Description:
- Represent the Bank in the development of its Financial Institutions business in UAE under the representative office guidelines, and act as a point of liaison between the Bank's Head Office and the Representative Office
- Represent the bank in UAE as a point of contact between the Bank and the Regulatory authorities in the UAE
- Provide the Head office with information relating to the economic developments in UAE, or any other information or reports as requested by the HO.
- Provide customers outside the UAE with information about the local UAE market.
- Monitor local market developments to assess their impact on the existing portfolio and the overall impact on FI business and banks, providing Head Office with relevant market intelligence, information, data and reports Actively engage and develop strong and effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including key financial institutions and banks with whom the Bank maintains correspondent relationships.
- Maintain and submit monthly management reports to track Representative Office and individual staff performance.
- Liaise with the Bank's Chief Compliance Officer and relevant regulatory authorities in UAE to ensure the Representative Office responds to, and is compliant with, all regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Direct the effective performance of the Representative Office, overseeing the performance management, recruitment, development and training of team members to ensure their individual and collective performance meets or exceeds the required standard set by the Bank
- Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the Representative Office's business continuity plan to ensure it is up to date and that all staff are aware of their responsibilities under the plan in the event of an incident or disruption
