Job Title: Senior Vice President - Capital Market Debt Fund Raising

Job Summary: The Senior Vice President will play a key leadership role within the Treasury Department, primarily focusing on Capital Market Debt Fund Raising. The role involves strategic planning, execution, and management of debt fundraising initiatives to support the organization's financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for capital market debt fund raising in alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyze market trends, investor behavior, and economic indicators to inform fundraising strategies.
2. Debt Issuance:
- Lead the execution of debt issuances, including bonds, commercial paper, and other debt instruments.
- Support the negotiation of terms and conditions for debt instruments
- Work closely with legal, finance, and external advisors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders
- Participate in meetings and communications to strengthen partnerships
- Negotiate terms and conditions for debt instruments to achieve favorable terms for the organization.
4. Risk Management:
- Evaluate and manage financial risks associated with debt fundraising activities.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with risk management policies.
5. Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to assess the impact of debt fundraising on the organization's overall financial position.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial modeling and scenario analysis.
6. Communication:
- Effectively communicate debt fundraising strategies and results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.
7. Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of relevant financial regulations and ensure compliance in all debt-related activities.
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to address compliance issues.
8. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals within the debt fundraising function.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18-20 years of experience in treasury, finance, or related roles.
- Proven track record of successfully executing capital market debt fundraising strategies.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, debt instruments, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
