SVP - Banking Application Support - Shared Service
Role Details :
- Bank is Looking at a position who will be managing various applications used by shared service departments like CFO, Company Secretary, HR, Procurement, Risk & Compliance. Then there are applications of Digital Lending, Account Opening Portals, Swift and CMS.
- There are wide range of application to be managed along with the team.
Overall Job Description :
- Working knowledge/experience in handling support of multiple surround applications in a Bank. Applications varies in deployments using Oracle, Linux/Unix , AWS , MSSql , WAS,MQ
- Knowledge on networking, certificates, patching, upgrades, security aspects involved in implementation and support of application
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members, individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- License and agreement renewals and tracking
- Stakeholder and vendor management
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Managing a team which supports various applications
- Being Customer Facing Application - keeping it up and running 24 - 7 is the key role
- Reporting periodical MIS on the performance of the applications
- Team should be proactive in identifying, reporting and resolving the issues on timely manner
- Adhere to strict compliance guidelines and implementing the same of channels
- Ensure DR and continuity of applications for business
- Adhering to audit, security compliance and implementing for applications supported
- Should be able to handle audit/compliance of core application and should be able to deal with external/internal auditors.
- Good Vendor Management Skills
- Monitoring of all service desk tickets
- Publishing and following up with teams for timely closure
- Interacting with vendors and working towards closure of issues in timely manner
- Handling incident management
- Coordinate with the SDG, Business and Development Team for implementations of change request.
- Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
- Identifying and resolving technical issues
- Performance Optimization and fine Tuning of Application
- Mentoring the team to deliver in agile manner
- Identifying talents and grooming them for growth
- Defining Processes and implementing the same
Education and Work Experience Requirements :
EDUCATION : Minimum BE and above
WORK EXPERIENCE : Min of 18-20 yrs of work experience in Managing Applications
Any specific requirements :
- Preferably from Banking / BFSI Space
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and handle multiple stakeholders
- Should have managed applications and delivery
