Aero Advanced Technology CNSS Leader(18+ Yrs)

- Leader for Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Systems (CNSS) Research and Technology Center (RTC) teams from India

- Technology areas of CNSS portfolio include advanced navigation, communication, surveillance, and guidance technologies.

Core technology focus areas are : Autonomous Systems, Obstacle Detection and Avoidance using multi sensor fusion, Guidance for UAVs/UGVs, Inertial Navigation Systems, GPS denied navigation, Aeronautical radios and datalink communication, Wireless Communication & Networking, personal navigation for soldiers, secure air-ground and air-air communication.

- Responsible for developing technology roadmap and flawless execution strategies for CNSS domain projects (global and regional)

- Responsible for driving execution improvement projects of advanced technology (impact to cycle-time, cost and quality) by leveraging methodologies/practices of Lean Six Sigma

- Responsible for regional pursuits of joint advanced technology projects in aerospace and defense domain (response to RFI/RFP)

- Application of working knowledge of several technologies, careful judgment, and application of modern technical tools to diverse, often difficult-to-define problems and requirements

- Establish strong customer connect (defense research Labs, PSUs, airlines, armed forces, airports) resulting in robust opportunity pipeline supporting strategic goals of Customers and Honeywell

- Enable strong connects with local suppliers/partners and develop robust eco-system for research and development

- Closely work with global advanced technology business development leader to align practices and priorities for India region.

- Must work with cross-functional teams from engineering and support functions (finance, legal, export, etc) to create pursuit response and driving to project kick-off

- Responsible for people and talent development (career planning, goal setting, performance assessment, differentiated skills)
