We are looking for a Product Manager for Supply Chain vertical of a flagship digital commerce venture of an Indian multinational conglomerate, having a unique omni-channel marketplace model. It is a multi-category e-commerce platform, operating across categories such as Fashion, Footwear and Accessories, Electronics and Luxury.
KEY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB :
The Program Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific short-term Program which has a beginning, an end and specified deliverables. There are several parallel Programs running each having challenges on priorities, meeting timelines, budgets etc.
MAJOR DELIVERABLE :
Plan the Program :
- Define the scope of the Program in collaboration with Product Managers and Business users
- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the Program
- Work with vendors to ensure availability of the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the Program
- Develop a schedule for Program completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
- Review the Program schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the Program activities, provide regular updates; revise the schedule as required
- Determine the objectives and measures upon which the Program will be evaluated at its completion
- Evaluate the outcomes of the Program as established during the planning phase
Vendor Management :
- Audit vendor timesheets and resource allocations regularly to identify outliers.
- Ensure proper information flow to vendors
- Act as bridge among business users, product managers and vendors
Control the Program :
- Write reports on the Program for management
- Communicate with business users
- Monitor and control all budgeted Program expenditures
- Provide assistance to finance team on audit queries
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS :
- Proven Program management abilities using Agile (Scrum, Sprints, Story Pointing) / Waterfall methodologies & tools like JIRA
- Proven skills with MS office tools
- Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
