Senior Taxation Analyst - eCommerce - CA

Summary of Responsibilities :

We are seeking a Senior Taxation Analyst who can take up taxation responsibilities in the area of GST, VAT and Service Tax. This would be an individual contributor role.

This position will be primarily focused on working closely with business and finance teams and guiding them taxation matters, building and redefining tax related processes, supporting tax compliance activities and strengthening internal controls and assessment preparedness. The Senior Analyst would be representing the company before tax authorities across India during audits and assessments and will needed to work closely with our tax advisors on co-ordination with various taxation departments.

Basic Qualification :

- Experience in handling indirect taxation.

- Preferably a Chartered Accountant

- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department

- Knowledge and experience with accounting for these taxes under IN GAAP required

- Experience working with cross-functional teams

- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Managing accounting or taxation related processes especially GST for a large public accounting firm or for any corporate entity having operations in multiple states

- Knowledge and experience with accounting for these taxes under IN GAAP required

- Experience working with cross-functional teams

- Good Understanding of the retail business

- Experience in representing to taxation authorities

- Fluency in Excel

- Solid communication skills - written and verbal

- Self-starter with the ability to drive initiates on his/her own.

- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment.

- Involves moderate level of travel across India
