PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for the development of a sourcing strategy for Target In India Teams. In partnership with recruiters, human resources and hiring managers, works closely with recruiters to meet the needs and develop proactive sourcing action plans to build a bench of talent for future critical openings that creates a diverse and inclusive culture at Target.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with Recruiters, Human Resources and Hiring Managers to understand staffing and market needs
- Identifies talent through sourcing strategies including market mapping, linkedin, Github etc
- Develops industry-specific partnerships for networking purposes
- Proactively conducts research and investigates new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies
- Conducts initial screening of candidate to evaluate, identify and summarize relevant experience, skills and presents interested candidates to hiring recruiters
- Responsible for all levels of hiring across multiple businesses within Target In India.
- Measures performance through data and metrics to track candidates through the sourcing process
- Ensures compliance with recruitment programs and processes
- Provides a Target brand experience for candidates and client group(s)
REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to Talent Acquisition Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors/Master's degree, or equivalent years of experience
- 6 - 12 years of recruiting and/or human resources experience
- Strong experience in writing Boolean Search Strings , souring thru various Job portals, tech and non tech communities, generating leads/ hiring thru events
- Prior Hiring Experience in Technology Hiring / KPO is preferred.
- Hands on head-hunting skill
- Very strong personal standards of excellence, ethics and integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High level of initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to assess talent
- Strong Knowledge of hiring practices
- Strong analytical and innovative thinking skills
