Sr. Staff Accountant, Prione (Amazon Subsidiary)

Summary of Responsibilities
Prione seeks a Sr. Staff Accountant who would be integral part of the Accounting and Controllership team. This position is expected to have a strong sense of ownership, ability to identify process improvement opportunities, drive positive change across the organization, and enhance partnerships between Accounting and various business groups.
Primary responsibilities:
- Ensuring closure of books for IN within timelines. Review for Opex accounts and comparison of monthly run rates and variance analysis.
- Preparation and monitoring the budgets on a periodic basis and reporting to Management.
- Manage Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and other modeling tools as required
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
- Supporting Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth PL analysis
- Coordinating with auditors for timely closure of audits.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience for a qualified Chartered Accountant
- Knowledge of IN accounting standards and procedures
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Should have good knowledge and Speed in working in Excel.
- Good communication skills - written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Tally and any ERP
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment
- Preferred experience in building and managing Financial Models
