Networking infrastructure has changed a great deal in last few years both in terms of kinds of applications it supports like cloud computing (SDN, NFV), mobile networks, huge ISPs, also in terms of scale of subscribers, features and elasticity.

At Cloud Services Platform group we are taking a fresh look at how one should build new networking infrastructure for deploying the cloud services.

Engineering Managers are pragmatic visionaries who can translate business needs into workable technology solutions. Do you have experience in the Managing SW development teams Cloud computing platforms/services? If you have and are excited to be part of a team of engineers who look forward to building the next generation Cloud services platform, then we want to speak with you. Experience in Agile development methodology would be a plus.

As a Sr Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in design, development and testing of cloud services platform software. We are looking for people who have an established background in managing software development preferably with a good knowledge of agile development methodology, strong technical ability, excellent project and people management skills along with great communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the over-all software development life cycle

- Managing and execution against project plans and delivery commitments; Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering teams

- Building, mentoring and retaining best-of-class engineering teams

- Work closely with architects and other engineering managers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach

- Work closely with PLM and account teams to define product requirements

- Reporting on status of product development and quality in appropriate forums
