We are looking for Senior Sales Manager/Sales Manager (Embedded Systems)


Location: Bangalore

Responsible For: Sales/Business Development for Embedded Engineering Services and Embedded Systems Turnkey.

Verticals focus:

- Automotive/Connected Vehicles/EV

- General Embedded

- Avionics and Aero systems

- Industrial Automation/Industry 4.0 [Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, DCS and building automation]

- IoT

Knowledge and skills:

- Higher Technical (engineer) or commercial education with technical experience.

- Experience and knowledge of working in Engineering service companies

- Excellent use of Excel, Powerpoints and CRM

- Embedded Systems knowledge

- Fluency in English and one other language

- Effective communication, presentation, negotiation and social skills

- Basic understanding of the embedded supply chain

- Basic background on software architectures based on embedded Linux and RTOS

- Basic technical background in embedded system development and the ability to summarize technical details to highlight our unique selling propositions (USP) to high profile customers

- Autonomy and rigor

Qualifications:

- B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech in Embedded Electronics/ Control Systems from reputed Institute

- Total 5 to 7 years of industrial experience in Embedded (for at least two of verticals specified above), pre-sales and client solution management.

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Sales and Business development, preferably with an Embedded & Electronics service line.

Detailed JD:

- Understand customer requirements, create solutions, articulate value propositions, calculate return on investment and manage complex contractual process. Identify the decision makers within the potential customers' organizations and understand their environment, expectations and needs. Identify new clients in Embedded services & build quick revenue streams.

- Handson expertise in client management, customer engagement and account mining and demonstrated ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.

- Experience in handling contracts and NDA's.

- Align to Embedded BU revenue targets for each Quarter.

- Demonstrable track record of exceeding quota. This requires active prospecting and building/managing an accurate opportunity pipeline.

- Bring immediate business from known accounts.

- Respond to calls for Embedded RFQ and advice clients on the range of products, services and terms and conditions.

- Act as an interface between internal and external contacts in order to respond to customer needs as quickly as possible and settle RFQs

- Analyze the financial and industrial capacities of customers and identify risks.

- Adjust product and service proposals according to the risks in order to safeguard the interests of the company

- Feed the CRM system and the internal processes of the processes

- Establish sales forecasts and manage the sales area responsibilities accordingly

- Ensure the follow-up of the invoicing, customers and business from the order taking until the end of the product guarantee

- Strong ability to develop individual strategies per account

- Willingness to travel domestically extensively to meet clients
