- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across these product categories.
Job Description:
- Role Overview: The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for our dairy, namkeen, ice cream, frozen foods, and masala products.
- This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in sales management and a deep understanding of the FMCG market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets across the product categories: dairy, namkeen, ice cream, frozen foods, and masalas.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including revenue, market share, and customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and optimize product offerings.
- Develop and manage the sales budget, including forecasting and cost control.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- An MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales leadership roles within the FMCG sector, with a strong focus on dairy, namkeen, ice cream, frozen foods, and masalas.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and managing a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
