Position Overview :
- Developing and execution of the overall modern trade strategy, including identifying key accounts, negotiating contracts, and driving sales growth in the modern trade channel.

- Lead the development of innovative sales and marketing initiatives tailored to the unique needs and preferences of modern trade customers, driving differentiation and competitive advantage.
- Drive digital transformation and adoption of technology solutions to enhance sales effectiveness, customer engagement, and operational efficiency in the modern trade channel.
- Evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities, resource allocation, and budget allocation to maximize ROI and achieve strategic objectives in the modern trade channel.
- Build strategic partnerships and alliances to support business objectives and enhance market position.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the modern trade team, inspiring confidence, commitment, and alignment with the company's vision and values.
Business Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in the modern trade channel.
- Identify and prioritize key modern trade accounts, retailers, and distributors to maximize sales opportunities and expand market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including modern trade partners, distributors, and retailers, to negotiate contracts, secure listings, and drive sales growth.
- Lead a team of modern trade executives and representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and threats in the modern trade channel and develop proactive strategies to address them.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including sell-through, distribution, and market share, and provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to develop and implement integrated modern trade programs and promotions that drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as regulatory requirements, in all modern trade activities and transactions.
- Continuously assess and optimize sales processes, tools, and resources to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote products, build relationships, and identify business opportunities.
Education Qualification :
- Must be MBA/PGDM (Marketing / Sales) from premier institute having knowledge of MS Office Suite and CRM software
