Job Description - IT Infrastructure
Grade - FML 1
To plan and execute projects as per Business Priorities.
- To participate in Business Meetings for effective understanding of Business Objectives
- To execute all Projects with standard Project Management Skills
- To conduct the Project Governance Meetings & regular status updates to Business
- To effectively manage Change Management
- Responsible for new branch rollouts.
To ensure smooth IT Operations so as to reduce (Minimum / no) Business downtime.
- To ensure 24 X 7 X 365 Support
- To ensure Secure, Scalable & Available Infrastructure at all times
- To plan, monitor and ensure strong Governance of IT Policies
- To effective define and manage Release Management
- To conduct IT Operations Governance Meetings & regular status updates to Business
- Responsible for planning, implementing, maintenance of Servers, Network Components and End users assets.
- Ensuring maximum & secure uptime of Datacenter and DR
- Review of Capacity utilization & capacity planning of Servers and WAN links across Branches
- Ensure that the infrastructure team meets the agreed incident, problem and request SLA's agreed with Business and Service Partners
- Review and Monitoring Operations of Security Infrastructure (AV, ESM, Patch Management, Firewall, Internet Proxy )
Effective contribution to Vendor and Contract Management:
- To ensure effective Vendor Management (Key Account Management)
- To participate in Contracting & Negotiations with various vendors
- To conduct Periodic Governance Meetings with various Partners
- Responsible to ensure all the assets are covered under vendors support through the assets life cycle.
- Vendor Management - Track and review Vendor / Service Provider's SLAs.
- Co-ordination with Service Provider and handle technical issues and escalate complex and critical issues at appropriate levels across teams for speedy resolution of issues/incidents
Effective Leadership :
- Team Management - Lead and guide team for implementation.
- To build a strong and fully motivated Team
- To mentor key people in team so as to build next level of Leadership Team
MIS and Documentations :
- Prepare regular MIS and publish monthly
- Develop and Maintain infrastructure documentations
- Risk & Issue Management.
- Analyze business requirements and preparation of business case.
Desired Skills set :
- Good working knowledge on servers ( Microsoft / Aix)
- Good working knowledge on Network and Security devices
- Good understand of licensing ( Microsoft / AIX)
- Good working knowledge on Budgeting and Cost Benefit Analysis
- Good understanding of General Insurance Business.
- Should able to manage team.
Desired Qualification and Experience :
B.E / BCA / Bsc - IT with minimum 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Domain.
