Knowledge & Skill requirements:-
Experience of having worked in India payroll lead role of a MNC, minimum of 12 years work experience in the areas connected with payroll and processing
Should have min of 12+ years of exp in handling Inhouse India Payroll operations.
Experience in Payroll management for employee strength of more than 15,000 with multiple entities
To manage payroll, drive strategic thinking and automation processes.
Hands on managing all statutory compliances .
Role involves analyzing & review of payroll process, input data, cross checks, process compliance, operating internal controls, managing the team with very good and professional team management skills.
Knowledge and experience in dealing with matters around Actuary, retirement benefits, Income tax provisions, salary structures in the industry and the implications, ability to identify risks associated with claims and structures that are not ethical and not in compliance with law
Experience handling employee payroll matters consequent to legal entity transfers
Preferable to be part of the Organization that processes payroll for employees, client service provider or role in Third party service provider is not preferable
Accounting knowledge is important
Analytical skills arevery important as the role requires analysis of data processed / handled by team, data crunching, etc
