Senior HR Generalist
Job Purpose : The HR Generalist is responsible for delivering a robust and proactive HR service that is aligned to the objectives of the group they support. The HR Generalist will also support global HR projects and activities and drive local implementation.
Main Duties :
- Employee Relations: Provide support and guidance to managers to achieve the required results in line with Company ethics and local employment legislation
Serve as a facilitator and support managers and employees Employee Relations matters :
- Support managers in applying Company policies including those governing disciplinary, attendance, grievance, discrimination and harassment. Ensuring policies and procedures are applied fairly for both the business and individual
- Ensure that recognition and engagement activities take place, taking responsibility for organizing or overseeing the organization of such events as needed
- Ensure consistency in HR approach across the site as it relates to global practices
Compensation and Benefits :
- Ensure effective communication of Company-wide and local initiatives and individual communication of outcomes such as salary reviews and share options, drawing on the management group and site leadership team to deliver
- Support managers in using the leadership tools and best practice including performance management tools, salary benchmarks, job leveling, and recognition programs
- Manage the annual salary review process across the business units (including grade reviews and promotions) including remuneration panels, recommendations, and analysis of outcomes in line with agreed global process and framework
- Ensure that the performance review process is followed effectively. Provide coaching and support to appraisers and appraises and deliver refresher training to managers and employees as required
- Manage benefits programs locally and provide information and guidance to employees
Learning and Development :
- Support the development and delivery of training initiatives, in conjunction with the Learning & Development Partner
- Implement and manage initiatives locally in response to the annual Employee Opinion Survey in agreement with the Senior Managers and HR Business Partners and aligned to the global response
Talent Acquisition:
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team to ensure a smooth and seamless recruitment and onboarding process for new hires
HR Operations :
- Monitor headcount plans, forecasts and actuals, understanding and validating deviations with support from the global HR team and in conjunction with the relevant HR Leadership Team member and HR Business Partner
- Support the data submissions for salary surveys and the interpretation of the analysis with support from the Director of Global Compensation and Benefits, as part of the overall review cycle
- Ensure that all organizational changes are documented and that correspondence and material is professional, accurate and complies with local legal obligations and the company standards
- Maintain all data accurately on the HRIS to support the Finance team in preparing payroll and forecasts, and the HR team for reporting purposes
