Job Description :
- Lead the identification and analysis of the enterprise business drivers and industry/market trends to derive the future state platform architecture in the context of business processes, applications, information and technologies.
- Provide direction to integrate architecture best practices into critical processes and disciplines such as acquisition/purchasing, vendor management, portfolio/program and project management.
- Evolve culture to embrace and incorporate architecture as part of everyday activities and behaviors
- Review production applications to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve the response time, availability, and reliability of our solutions while reducing utilization/costs. Diagnosis of complex and urgent outages.
- Facilitate the usage technology investments and resources to enable the business capabilities of the corporate strategic plan.
- Develop and maintain enterprise-wide technology architecture strategy which identifies areas for synergies, and provides guidelines to maximize the return on investment across the enterprise.
- Develop and implement technology innovation agenda to ensure that Bank is a leader in the application of technology to our various businesses.
- Creation of the solution architectures and then shepherding them through the various architecture governance processes to ensure they are aligned with the strategic direction, utilizes approved technology standards, and follows the appropriate guiding principles
- Develop the solution architecture function to support most important and complex initiatives.
- Responsible for monitoring industry trends; applies trends to influence strategy and behaviors within areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for setting directions that develop and maintain a good information and integration architecture while simultaneously lowering unit costs and raising productivity.
- Drive the creation of transition plans, frameworks, reference architectures that lead the way to the future, detailing the steps required in various areas and coordinating across the company to minimize risk and maximize capabilities and efficiency
- Work with the Business Innovation group to provide technical expertise
