Centre of Excellence Team- Business Systems- Business Process Automation & SAP

1. ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ACCOUNTABILITIES ACTIVITIES:

1 Business Systems - Work with the Business IT team to develop overall design & execution of SAP automation, utilizing SAP technology, while ensuring regulatory compliance

- Works with leadership to set the IT roadmap for SAP implementation across including Hydrocarbon & Non-Hydrocarbon Procurement, Refining and Marketing functions and supporting processes

- Manage internal & external resources who configure, develop & deliver SAP projects

- Consults with users to interpret & understand issues, applying technical expertise and system know how to create & recommend appropriate solutions

- Work with experts within other functional areas to translate the business requirements into processes and tools that will help to increase productivity

- Participates in the pre-planning, blueprinting, realization, final preparation & go-live support phases of IT strategic roadmap projects

2 Quality Assurance - Ensure data and information architectures are consistent with global architectures

- Business data and information quality, by managing all source data issues

3 Administration - Administer information (meta data) on data and information sources and data information derivation and data and information transformation processes and maintain tools to support meta data

4 Solution Delivery - Direct the automation aspects of solution development from concept to implementation

- Direct and govern automation activities of the internal and external solution delivery teams assigned to solution development projects within the annual IT Portfolio

- Collaborate with program management to ensure the right skills and talent are delivered and are performing on solution development projects

- Sets standards, strategies and procedures across the automation development lifecycle in the areas if systems integration and testing

- Ensure solutions meet and exceed expectations of business requirements and capabilities

- Foster strong alignment and collaboration between business partner teams, solution design teams and solution development project teams .

- Provide strategic consultancy and direction to projects throughout solution development lifecycle

- Build string relationship with business, IT & Strategic application development partner.

- Collaborate with strategic application development partner and development services in monthly and annual planning of development demand and resources as solution delivery programs are planned for and executed.

- Overall delivery of automation landscape

5 Automation Expert - Process Modelling, Redesign and Automation using BPM tools

- BPM Process Integration

- Applying industry known best practices

- Gathering report requirements from business users and manage end to end reporting activities

- Understand change control management and drive changes by performing impact analysis

- Ownership of all the deliverables such as report designs, process improvements and consolidation exercises

- Working with dependent teams such as DBA, Admin, etc for tasks that require other team assistance
