Roles and Responsibilities:
- Generate lead in smart metering project.
- Respond to various RFI/RFP/RFQ requests, Co-ordinate and Collaborate with business development, delivery and Vertical/horizontal pre sales teams to develop winning proposals/presentations.
- Analyze and understand customer requirements received via RFP/Non-RFP route and ensure key messages are appropriately incorporated.
- Support pursuit team to define the marketing and development strategy, win themes and value proposition to the client.
- Review and proof read RFX responses and client presentations for quality, cohesiveness of win themes, and accuracy of content and prepare presentations.
- Build effective relationships with external (clients, Govt. agencies) and internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Legal, Admin etc.) to ensure submission of bid proposals as per defined timelines.
Key Competencies:
- Good understanding of Power Sector primarily Distribution, EPC and IT enabled projects (e.g. Smart Metering)
- Ability to manage proposal repository (for medium to large scale deals) and curate standard bid content in terms of stakeholder mapping and competition landscape.
- Capable of handling multiple proposals with varied complexities, at a time.
- Excellent planning, organizing and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker, self starter and outcome oriented.
Qualification:
B.Tech (Electrical Eng.) / Bachelor in Information Technology / MBA (Mktg.& Salt)
Age / Years of experience
12+ years- experience in BD/Sales/marketing functions.
Industry experience: Power Distribution / Electrical Metering & Transformer Manufacturing / IT Manufacturing Company working in client site
