Job summary
This position will support the Head in designing, analyzing and reporting research projects/ studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall project coordination including research budget
- Lead the design, conduct, analyze and report qualitative / and or mixed-methods health research studies.
- Develop research protocol and related documents (e.g. data collection forms, interview guides, etc.)
- Conduct interviews and focus group discussions
- Train teams on study related activities.
- Manage data collection and monitoring of the study team and sites
- Develop high quality reports corresponding with agreed upon milestones and deliverables of the project
Required qualification, experience and skills
- Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Work, Development, Sociology etc.
- Minimum 7 years in designing and conducting qualitative and/or mixed-methods studies in public health
- Excellent soft skills (communication, writing, team-player, adaptable)
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
