Senior Research Analyst - Structured Trade Review - BFS

Job Title : Senior Research Analyst

Location : Mumbai/Chennai

Job Duties :

- In this role, candidate will be part of Structured Trade Review team spread across various asset classes for a mid-sized investment bank

- The role involves understanding & reviewing trade payoffs for complex structured products, understanding booking methodologies and valuation models.

- Analyst will have to ensure that trade risks and economics as detailed in legal documentation & term sheet are correctly captured in bank's risk management system, middle office and back office systems.

- Creating process documentation, model understanding documentation, MIS reports for senior stake holders, creating scenario analysis templates, quality control activities etc

- Engaging with various client stakeholders in Front / Middle / Back office teams within the bank for resolving any queries.

Qualification :

Primary : Master degree in Finance from a reputed institute

Secondary : B.Tech / B.E

Professional Qualifications : CFA / FRM is preferable

Other skills : Bloomberg, Reuters, NCFM Certification in Derivatives. Excel VBA knowledge is preferable

Skill Required :

- Derivatives knowledge

- Strong product knowledge and exposure to Structured/Exotic/complex Products

- Excellent communication skills

- Good process orientation and detail oriented

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Proficiency in use of excel intrinsic and add-in functions, excel analytics in general & knowledge of excel VBA and database skills is preferable
