Role Description:
- Undertake custom research projects as defined by various stakeholders - Sales/Marketing/Senior Mgmt/Technology heads and others as required.
- Research, analyze and monitor technology/financial/economic trends.
- Develop and recommend the strategy to meet organization objectives.
- Track competitive landscape by analyzing competitor products/services/strategies.
- Ability to write research reports by analyzing data from various sources.
- Interact with industry analysts and internal stakeholders to collaborate and work on sales/marketing campaigns.
- Utilize internal subject matter expertise to develop sales and marketing collateral including white papers, presentations and webinars. Work with internal SMEs to deep dive into different domains, esp financial services
- Work with the team to drive and create impactful research/thought leadership content
- Drive and own B2B primary research projects for internal stakeholders
Qualifications -
- Candidates with around 8-10 years with a research house or a strategy/research function of a global IT/Tech firm.
- Prior experience in the IT/Tech sector is desirable.
- Experience with sales/inside sales in IT services is an advantage.
- Ability to own, interpret and analyze various research reports, scientific and technical journals and financial reports.
- Experience in market segmentation, market sizing and basic financial analysis.
- Exceptional written and oral communication.
- Experience in primary research and statistical skills is a bonus.
- Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, esp. with internal sales and marketing teams
- Should have developed content/stories and be comfortable with the entire process of content creation: idea generation, topic selection, commissioning of articles, proof reading, editing and delivering of content
