Senior Research Analyst - Global Maritime Consultancy

We are looking for a Sr Research Analyst for a global maritime consultancy.

Job Profile:

- The person will be a team member with experience in customized research spanning the shipping and energy domain.

- The candidate shall be well versed with the entire energy segment and shall have demonstrated experience of executing the mandates independently in the shipping/energy sector.

- Sector and business related research.

- Ability to promptly assess sector level changes and trends and understanding of inter-linkages with the macro economy.

- Support in preparing proposals, approach and methodology as well as execution of mandate as analyst.

- Ability to execute the assignments encompassing:

o Market assessment and opportunity identification.

o Business/geographical expansion.

o Commercial due diligence.

o Business plan feasibility and inputs for the same.

o Competition assessment.

Requirement:

- BSC Graduate/PG with X/XII from ISCE/ISC/CBSE Board.

- NMIS Mandatory.

- 5-6 years overall experience.

- Strong financial modeling and presentation skills.

- Preferred candidates will be with good experience of working with Corporate/PSUs in - Freight, Power and Oil & Gas sectors.

- Ability to think out of the box and come out with innovative solutions/idea.

- Self-starter with ability to multi-task and constantly reprioritize.

- Ability to structure and write high-quality reports.

- Knowledge of freight indices & assessment.

- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.

- Positive attitude and ability to work across teams within tight deadlines
