Senior Relationship Manager - Transaction banking
Job Purpose :
- They will be expected to meet Revenue targets for Assets, Liabilities, FX, Trade and Investments, Insurance.
- They will also be accountable to Achieve high levels of service standards and maximize client satisfaction and ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank and anti-money laundering regulations.
Job Responsibilities :
1. Financial
- Deliver all the budgeted targets for revenue, profit, asset & deposit growth, customer acquisition and cross sell of Trade and Forex, Insurance and investments.
- Achieve Business Banking business goals as specified in the annual objectives.
- Identify opportunities for sales and provide strategic direction to Relationship Officers.
2. Sales and Advisory Services.
- Farm and grow the accounts which have been opened by Relationship Officers and convert them into a profitable proposition for the bank.
- Ensure maximum penetration of the local market including NTB customers.
- Focus on present customer base to enhance the asset and revenue books of the segment.
- Providing timely advisory services to customers on various Trade and Treasury products and linking two.
3. Customer Service Excellence
- Ensure minimum TAT's and ensure service excellence.
- To be conversant with the full range of SME banking
- Assisting the clients in resolving their issues with regard to deposits, trade, assets, insurance and investments. Assist in all Service queries and help migrate clients to Digital channels
- Accountable for regular monitoring of client satisfaction and service quality levels
4. Compliance and Risk.
- To be fully aware of all policies relating to operational risk, sales processes, credit policy, anti-misselling, etc. and comply with the same
- To be responsible for ensuring up-to-date compliance, KYC and client profile for each client as well as maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times
- To be responsible for assessing customer risk, suitability of products and explaining appropriate products and services to meet client requirements
- To safeguard the reputation of Emirates NBD by employing best practices and acting in a professional manner at all times
- To document all meetings and contribute to the reporting processes established in the team
- To have full awareness of all policies and procedures issued in relation to credit lending, money laundering prevention and KYC
- To comply with the above policies on an ongoing basis and report any suspicious transaction immediately to the supervising manager(s).
5. Portfolio Management
Grade L: 300+ relationships totaling to about AED 90 Mio.
Grade M: 300+ relationships totaling to about AED 200 Mio.
Grade P: 300 relationships totaling to more than AED 400 Mio.
Requirement :
- Grade L: 3-5 of Banking experience preferably in an RM role.
- Grade M: 5-7 years of banking experience preferably in an RM role.
- Grade P: 7+ years of banking experience preferably in an RM role.
- At least 2 years experience as an SME RM in transactional banking
- Knowledge of basic banking operations including compliance, AML and KYC policies
- Service process understanding
