We are looking for - Senior Manager/ Regional Manager Sales - Govt- for Delhi Location. Our client is the world leader in the manufacture, distribution and service of electronic and electrical test tools and software.
Key Deliverables:
- PAN India role. The incumbent shall own and expand the India sales and transformation efforts for the Government and Defense Segments.
- The role will be executed with major enterprise Government end users in close collaboration with segment specialists, through appointment and engagement with consultant and segment specialist partners.
- The role will collaborate closely with customers, partners and regional sales teams to win end user adoption of our products and solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own Revenue target and Growth for the segment.
- Prospecting, identifying and developing new Government clients.
- Identification of Large Opportunities, sizing, structuring, bid management, participation and Closure of Large Sales opportunities.
- Ability to develop relationships at Senior Level/ Key Stakeholders in Government customers both in Central and State Government.
- Experience to have worked on Government Rate Contracts both in Central and State governments.
- Track and Initiate Dialogue with Government Department for New Projects.
- Liasoning with central and state government entities, Nodal agencies, local bodies, municipal corporations, international agencies, etc. across the country
- Identifying new business opportunities in the segment and coordinating all activities of the business development team along with product management team. etc.
- Work with end customers and consultants to develop EOI/RFP preparation. Appoint and engage the entire ecosystem of the tender through suitable partners for participation/Bid management/winning/implementation/collection.
Job Requirements
- Direct experience in Central and State Government, Defense, Transport and public sector industries is required.
- Prior experience in Liasoning with the central and state government customers, nodal agencies and Defense accounts a must.
- Engineering background (Preferably Electrical), Non Science graduates may also be considered if they have good experience in selling Electric / Electronic goods in the industrial segment (Switch gears, Electrical fittings etc..)
- Should have experience of around 15 + years
- Exposure to large projects. Opportunity identification/sizing/RFP management/Bid management/participation/execution/closure
- Preferably candidate should have Market / Industry knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, delivers effective presentations and is comfortable and experienced speaking in front of a group
- Ability to work successfully in a dynamic organization ; able to work independently and accomplish the overall goals of the strategic target markets and the sales organization
- Extensive travelling will be there - 60% - 75% travel in the assigned territory.
