Senior Regional Logistics Manager - candidates from NITIE/SPJIMR/SCMHRD/SJMSOM are requested to apply

Job Description:

Secondary Transportation:

- Managing Secondary freight budget for the region

- Vendor development for region

- New vendor discovery & freight negotiation

- Timely execution of customer orders (placement of trucks)

- Monitor vendor performance and development

- Drive cost metrics like Truck Utilization, Upsizing etc.

Warehouse Management:

- Manage Warehousing budget for region

- Selection of warehouse and negotiations

- Management of overheads and detentions

- Ensure desired daily throughput is achieved at the depots.

- Hygiene and safety at the warehouses

- Ensure inventory accuracy at the depots

- Drive Local & Centrally managed projects for improvements

- Facilitate proper conduct of audits at warehouses

- Monitor ageing & expired of stock and facilitate timely liquidation/destruction.

- Ensure all statutory & legal compliances are in place for warehouse operations

Customer Service:

- On time delivery & timely availability of stock at distributor point

- Drives PDP compliance, CRS Compliance (continuous replenishment), Fill rates for all channels (GT, MT, GT, CSD, ACD) at depot level

- Track executions from depot on a daily basis to ensure sales targets are achieved
