Position: Senior Regional Logistics and Customer Service Manager
Job responsibilities /skills:
Core responsibilities: Warehouse management, Customer Service, Team management and Stakeholder Management, Transportation
Secondary Transportation:
- Secondary freight budget for region
- Vendor development for region
- freight negotiation
- Daily execution of shipments (placement of trucks)
- Monitor performance mechanism and development for transporters
- Monitor Vehicle utilization RS / kg
Warehouse management:
- Warehousing budget for region
- Selection of warehouse and negotiations
- management of overheads and detentions
- Hygiene and safety of warehouse
- Daily operational excellence
- Drive central improvement agenda for warehouse
- Roll out depot operational training to depot personnel and trainer. Call 2-3 depot level and run 1 day complete training done by corporate
- Help execute warehouse audits
- SOP roll out at warehouse
- Implement national initiatives for warehouse (GST implementation, cycle count for daily inventory check. (Eg. 1)
- Monitor ageing and obsolesce of stock and prepare stakeholders to take necessary actions
- Warehouse layout design to be led by the respective region (where to keep what product)
- Applying and renewal of licenses at the depot
Customer Service:
- Availability of stock at distributor point
- Timely execution of shipments
- Drives PDP compliance, CRS Compliance (continuous replenishment), fill rate by channels (MT, GT, CSD, ACD) at depot level
- Track executions from depot on a daily basis to ensure sales targets are achieved
Team management and Stakeholder Management
- Sales, distributors, quality, vendors, commercial

- Regional manufacturing
- GM Replenishment
- National Logistics Manager

- Vendors
- Auditors
- Local authorities (for permits and licenses)
Team size / direct and indirect reports:
- Direct - 4, Indirect - 9 CFA's and related manpower
Desired Competencies:
- Good understanding of warehouse processes and transportation
- Good Communication skills
- Commercial and Negotiation Skills.
- Self-motivated & performance driven.
- Very high level of execution skill.
Experience & Qualification: Post-Graduation in Management
- 4-6 years (from a Tier 1 institute)
- 8 - 10 years (from a Tier 2 institute)
(Experience in Logistics & Customer Servicing preferably with FMCG background. Knowledge of Freight is an added advantage)
