Designation: Sr Project Manager.
Job Summary:.
To lead and oversee Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) and Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) projects in India.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Smart City traffic management projects, with expertise in project execution, SLA management, stakeholder coordination, and technology implementation.
Key Responsibilities:.
Project Planning & Execution:.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for ITMS/ATMS implementations.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality execution of project milestones.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
SLA Management & Compliance:.
- Oversee Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
- Monitor system performance and generate SLA reports, ensuring accuracy before submission to the customer.
- Identify SLA deviations and take corrective actions to maintain adherence.
- Work closely with internal teams to improve service delivery and reduce SLA breaches.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:.
- Collaborate with government agencies, municipal corporations, traffic police, and Smart City authorities.
- Work closely with OEMs, system integrators, and technology partners for seamless project execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
Technical Oversight & System Integration:.
- Oversee deployment and integration of ITMS/ATMS solutions, including ANPR, RLVD, speed enforcement systems, adaptive traffic signals, and traffic analytics.
- Ensure compliance with national and international traffic management standards.
- Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Team & Resource Management:.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, field technicians, and IT professionals.
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on traffic management technologies.
Reporting & Documentation:.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of SLA reports and other project documentation.
- Prepare project reports, presentations, and compliance documents for stakeholders.
- Track project KPIs and performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:.
Educational Background:.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related fields) or Project Management.(Mandatory).
- PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus.
Technical & Domain Expertise:.
- Strong understanding of Smart City ITMS/ATMS solutions, traffic control systems, IoTbased traffic sensors, GIS mapping, and data analytics.
- Experience in deploying AI-based traffic monitoring, adaptive traffic signals, and enforcement solutions.
- Knowledge of ITS architecture, traffic rules & regulations, and urban mobility frameworks in India.
Project & Team Leadership:.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale Smart City/ITMS projects.
- Strong coordination skills with government bodies and technology vendors.
- Ability to handle project escalations and drive issue resolution.
SLA & Performance Monitoring:.
- Hands-on experience in SLA tracking, reporting, and compliance.
- Ability to analyze SLA deviations and recommend process improvements.
- Experience in preparing detailed SLA reports for submission to government authorities.
Software & Tools:.
- Familiarity with traffic management software, SCADA systems, cloud-based platforms, and ITS applications.
- Experience in using GIS tools, project management software (MS Project, Primavera, JIRA, etc.
Communication & Problem-Solving:.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:.
Must have worked on Smart City traffic management projects in India.
Experience in handling projects funded by municipal corporations, state governments, or urban development authorities.
Exposure to national ITS standards, MoRTH guidelines, and global best practices in traffic management.
