Senior Production Manager

Job Description:

- Ensure availability of tools, equipment, raw materials, and trained manpower for smooth production.

- Check line readiness and coordinate with Warehousing and Technical Services.

- Drive compliance with station-level readiness using a 120-point checklist.

- Arrange machines for testing new products and provide feedback for improvement.

- Execute action plans based on internal and external feedback.

- Report and resolve line issues affecting production quality.

- Eliminate non-value-adding activities through line balancing and Kaizen initiatives.

- Implement kitting solutions for optimized material movement.

- Coordinate logistics for maximum productivity.

- Train operators in technical and soft skills.

- Lead self-directed teams (SDT) for productivity improvements.

- Ensure compliance with training requirements.

- Conduct TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) training.

- Implement safety standards and ensure PPE compliance.

- Minimize safety incidents in the production area.

- Contribute to annual shop production budgeting.

- Control rejection, indirect material, and tool costs through proactive planning.

- Execute waste reduction and cost-saving initiatives such as TCS and VAVE.

- Participate in cost-reduction strategies and WCQ (World Class Quality) initiatives.
