Senior Product Manager - Waterproofing Division

Job Role: Product Manager (Water-Proofing).

Job Summary:

- We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Specification Manager for our Water-proofing division.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and specifying our wood coating products to architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

This role requires a deep understanding of wood coatings, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities:.

- Product Specification: Work closely with architects, designers, and contractors to specify wood coating products in projects.

- Provide detailed product information and ensure specifications meet project requirements.

- Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice on wood coating applications, including surface preparation, application methods, and product selection.

- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for specifying wood coating products.

- Support the sales team in achieving sales targets by providing technical expertise.

- Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and seminars for architects, designers, contractors, and internal sales staff on wood coating products and their applications.

- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the wood coatings market.

- Provide insights and recommendations to the senior management team.

- Product Development: Work with the product development team to provide feedback from the field, helping to guide the development of new products and improvements to existing products.

- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, designers, contractors, and industry associations.

- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of product specifications, technical data sheets, and other relevant materials.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Wood Technology, or a related field.

A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience:

- Proven experience (5+ years) in the wood coatings industry, with a focus on product specification and technical support.

- Demonstrated success in working with architects, designers, and contractors.

Technical Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of wood coatings, including product formulations, application techniques, and industry standards.

- Proficiency in using specification software and CRM systems.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.

Compensation: Up to 32 LPA.
