A seasoned Sr. Product Manager with a specialized focus on Gen AI to lead the AI product strategy. This role is integral to driving AI innovation across our platform, ensuring that data-driven and AI-powered solutions deliver tangible value to our users. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to integrate cutting-edge AI solutions that elevate user experiences, improve insurance management, and deliver insights with clarity and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gen AI Product Vision & Strategy: Drive the AI first product strategy and product roadmap. Identify AI opportunities within the insurance journey to improve product value and user experience.
- Roadmap & Execution: Lead the end-to-end AI product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to launch and iteration. Develop and prioritize AI features based on user needs, business impact, and technological feasibility.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, and UX teams. Collaborate with business and product teams to align AI initiatives with user needs and company goals.
- User-Centric Development: Employ a deep understanding of user personas, behaviors, and pain points to ensure AI features are user-friendly, insightful, and directly address real-world insurance needs.
- Data & Analytics: Leverage data-driven insights to make strategic decisions, validate AI hypotheses, and continuously improve AI-based features. Monitor key product and AI metrics to measure performance and inform future product decisions.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with AI advancements, insurtech trends, and regulatory shifts. Analyze competitor strategies and industry best practices to maintain competitive edge.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all AI initiatives comply with industry regulations and ethical standards, especially regarding data privacy, security, and transparency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in product management, with at least 1 year focused on Gen AI-driven product development, preferably in insurance, fintech, or a related industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data analytics, and data science frameworks. Ability to work with engineering and data teams on technical specifications and model interpretations.
- Analytical Skills: High proficiency in data analysis, KPIs, and A/B testing. Experience with data visualization tools and a data-informed approach to decision-making.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders, with a focus on translating technical insights into user value.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving complex AI initiatives from ideation to execution.
Preferred Skills:
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the insurance industry, particularly with policy management, underwriting, and claims processes.
- Product Design Sensitivity: Experience working with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly, intuitive AI products that enhance the overall experience.
- Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of compliance issues related to AI, especially in data privacy, bias reduction, and regulatory requirements within the insurance space.
