Role: Senior Product Manager
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy:
- Lead and develop product strategy to achieve user and business goals
Execution Excellence:
- Discover opportunities, conceptualize and validate problems and solutions
- Build a product roadmap and maintain backlog, inform and prioritise ruthlessly and drive cross-functional alignment and collaboration to execute and deliver
- Good stakeholder management and communication, keeping all stakeholders appraised of the progress and challenges
- Strong ownership and rigour to deliver product outcomes within deadlines
Team Management and Growth:
- Manage a team of 1-3 junior PMs, be their coach and help them grow
- Build solid product practices within the team to efficiently execute and deliver on the outcomes
Skills:
- User Centricity: How well does candidate understand users. What are the tool/channels they use. Do the understand biases with each tool/channel. Approach (problem identification/solution) - are the thinking user first (persona/needs/problems)
- Data Driven: Proven track record of utilising data to inform decision and deliver value. Ability to think and uncover deeper insights from data and extract actionable. Product metrics - sharp articulation and crisp definitions
- Product Strategy: Think long term goals, evaluate opportunities/gaps to achieve the goal, inform what matters the most and what must be parked, and strive for specific and differentiated value
- First Principal Thinking: Structured approach to problem identification, Identifying potential risks/assumptions, arriving at solutions and validating them, a good prioritization process
- Stakeholder Management: stakeholder alignment, efficient cross-functional collaboration, handling negotiation and conflicts, proactive and transparent communication
- Team Management: Ability to coach 1-3 junior PMs and build solid product practice to efficiently deliver on the outcomes
Persona:
- 5+ years of product management experience working on scalable product solutions (3 year in B2C product)
- Experience with leading cross-functional initiatives for 0-1 products (B2C product management experience is a must)
- One of the work experience/education to be good pedigree. Background working on Gamification and Engagement is a strong plus
- Late stage SPM with 1 - 2 years of experience in this position
- Strong b2c background working on scaled product
- Product Management Experience for 0-1 products - like new initiatives, line of businesses, offerings, early journey in a new startup
