About the Role:
- As the Senior Manager - Product, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our product offerings across the region.
- You will be responsible for concept selling, achieving product-level targets, and fostering strong relationships with distributors.
- Your role will also involve conducting training sessions, supporting sales efforts, and providing critical market feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
Concept Selling:
- Lead the concept selling initiatives across the region by leveraging existing distributor relationships.
- Develop and execute strategies to effectively promote and sell our products.
Product Level Targets:
- Achieve and exceed product-level targets for specified Equity and Debt products within the region.
- Monitor and report on performance against these targets.
Distributor Engagement:
- Conduct conference calls and meetings with distributors to provide updates on products, market conditions, and industry knowledge.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key distributor partners.
Training and Development:
- Conduct regular training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops for internal employees across the region.
- Ensure that team members are well-informed about product features, benefits, and market trends.
Sales Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Sales team to enhance distribution spread and optimize product mix.
- Provide support in developing strategies to increase market penetration.
Communication Support:
- Collaborate with the Product team to create clear and compelling communication materials for focused products.
- Ensure that messaging is consistent and aligns with overall product strategy.
Market Feedback:
- Gather and provide critical feedback from the ground to enhance business activities and product offerings.
- Share market insights and competitive intelligence with the Investments team regarding product positioning and sales performance.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
- Recommend and implement improvements based on market feedback and performance data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a product management or sales role within the financial services or related industry.
- Strong understanding of Equity and Debt products and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct effective training and knowledge sessions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide actionable market feedback.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
