What you'll do-
- Drive Strategic Marketing Vision: Define and execute the strategic vision and metrics for the product marketing function, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives within the B2B manufacturing industry
- Customer Insights & Market Analysis: Utilize advanced analytical skills to understand market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape, translating these insights into actionable marketing strategies
- Drive Product Adoption: Develop and implement strategies to drive product adoption, ensuring end-customers and internal stakeholder teams are fully aware of product features and benefits, leading to increased usage and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer support, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that effectively communicate product value propositions
- Customer-Centric Approach: Prioritize customer needs and preferences throughout the marketing lifecycle, ensuring all marketing efforts are aligned with delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Tailor Marketing Campaigns: Leverage a deep understanding of the B2B commerce landscape to design and implement targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with specific audiences and drive conversions
- Experimentation & Testing: Implement rigorous testing and experimentation methodologies to validate marketing hypotheses, refine strategies, and achieve continuous improvements in campaign performance
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the team, using metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities and guide future initiatives
- Monitor Industry Trends: Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in product marketing approaches
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, gathering feedback and input to inform product marketing decisions and strategies.
- Integrated Marketing Solutions: Collaborate with product managers across different areas to ensure cohesive and seamless integration of marketing solutions into the broader product ecosystem.
Who you are-
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in product marketing and have managed a team before
- Product Lifecycle Knowledge: Strong understanding of the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, post-launch optimization, and adoption
- Strategic Vision & Execution: Demonstrated ability to drive product marketing vision, strategy, and execution
- Market Research Proficiency: Proficiency in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis
- Ownership & Delivery: Demonstrate infinite ownership to drive delivery across multi-functional teams
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Track record of successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, design, and sales
- Data Analysis: Experience in defining and analysing product marketing metrics to make data-driven decisions
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas and strategies clearly
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and drive results
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA & additional certifications in product marketing are a plus
