Senior Position - Land Acquisitions

- Responsible for supporting in the development, execution, and management of the organization's investment strategy in the real estate sector across Bangalore.

- Identify investment opportunities, assess risks, and ensure the optimization the organization's investment portfolio in line with the investment strategy and growth targets for Bangalore city

- Establish complete ownership over the entire, end-to-end deal evaluation and execution process including preliminary screening of opportunities, detailed evaluation including rigorous valuation, assessment of potential risks and upsides.

- Be well versed with laws of the land related to approvals, licenses, agreements, taxation, compliance, legal etc. From time to time work with specialists, partners or other stakeholders to propose a fool proof plan around land assets.

- Conduct 3rd party paid diligence including commercial, financial, legal and tax advisors.

- Deal structuring for maximizing long term value for the company while also ensuring the rights and downsides from the deal are adequately protected

- Create detailed IM decks, financial models, risk registers/matrices, pipeline and due diligence updates regularly

- Create and develop a City level land acquisitions team capable of concluding at least 8-10 transactions per year.

1. MBA from a reputed institute

2. 6-12 years of total work experience including originating, managing and concluding land acquisitions

3. Substantial work experience in Real Estate developers, IPCs

4. Deep transactions experience in Bangalore market in the last 5 years

5. Hands-on experience of financial modeling, various due diligence processes
