Senior Operations Head - Pharma

Looking for people for operation head position for one of my Pharma client for Jammu location.

The details of requirement is below :

Major Purpose: (Exactly spell out key deliveries/results expected from this job)

- Responsible for Technical Operations of Dholka formulations manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities: (Please write all the major jobs that the employee is required to carryout)

- To ensure timely deliveries of products as required by marketing, with due focus on Quality, Cost & Productivity.

- To prepare and ensure implementation of strategy for the efficient functioning of Technical Group.

- To upgrade the Technology on need basis for effective utilization of resources and to improve productivity and quality.

- Review PPMC monthly production plan.

- Periodic review meeting involving Prod. Dept Heads, PPMS, QA / QC, F&D, Engineering and HR to resolve issues related to manufacturing:

a) Yield / Losses

b) Production Cycle Time

c) Productivity Related Deviations

d) Major Machine break down if any

- To ensure quality compliance at Dholka in line with international regulatory requirements.

- To ensure corrective actions on deviations of GMP / SOPs / Market Complaints etc.

- To ensure the compliance of quality system and procedures at Dholka

- To work on alternatives of cost reduction in all areas of manufacturing and engineering aspects by way of automation and improvisation.

Responsibilities:

- To work on various options of automation in manufacturing, implement best option to improve on line controls, yield and productivity of these departments.

- Handling productivity related issues with assistance from HR Dept.

- Weekly production review / Qty & Value (Production-Wise).

- Loss of sale review / Loss of production and taking corrective action based on this.

- To attend monthly operations and management committee meetings.

- To conduct production and operation meetings, take actions on relevant issues.
