- Our client, a global consulting firm, is collaborating with one of the leading bank-led brokers to conduct a diagnostic on their operations setup. This initiative aims to identify gaps against industry best practices and recommend interventions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of backend operations.

- To support this project, they are seeking a senior operations expert with extensive experience in the brokerage industry. The ideal candidate will have a background with prominent private bank-led brokers such as Kotak Securities, ICICI Direct, or tech-led discount brokers like Angel One, Groww, and Zerodha. The expert will provide insights and recommendations to align backend operations with industry best practices, making processes faster, more efficient, and streamlined.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the team to conduct a comprehensive diagnostic of the client's backend operations

- Identify gaps and recommend interventions based on industry best practices across people, processes, and technology

- Provide detailed recommendations to streamline and automate backend operations processes

- Engage with the client through on-site visits, facilitate discussions, and suggest improvements

- Contribute to broader operational improvement initiatives

Your background:

- Senior Operations Expert with extensive experience in the brokerage industry, particularly with prominent private bank-led brokers (e.g., Kotak, ICICI Direct) or tech-led discount brokers (e.g., Angel One, Groww, Zerodha)

- Deep understanding of backend operations in brokerages, including end-of-day processes, account opening requirements, and reconciliation processes

- Strong communication skills to facilitate effective client conversations

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

- Experience in both the brokerage industry and consulting settings is beneficial

Other Important Information:

- This opportunity is an initial 3 to 4-month contract with a high possibility of extension

- The expert can support the project on a part-time basis for the entire duration

- Willingness to travel to Mumbai as per the client's requirement is necessary

- All expenses related to travel and stay will be covered by the team
