Job Description:
The Senior Officer - Employee Relations will oversee discipline management, statutory compliance, legal cases, and government liaisoning. The role involves addressing employee indiscipline, managing legal documentation, ensuring compliance with labor laws, handling court cases and conciliation matters, and maintaining proactive communication with government authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discipline Management: Handle employee misconduct cases, conduct investigations, draft legal documents (warnings, charge sheets), and ensure fair inquiry processes.
- Statutory Compliance: Stay updated on labor laws, manage compliance activities, and conduct audits for contractors.
- Court Cases & Conciliation: Manage legal proceedings in labor courts and sessions courts, collaborating with legal experts for case management.
- Government Liaisoning: Engage with government bodies for compliance and regulatory updates, ensuring alignment with policies.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and conflict resolution
- Effective communication and drafting skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel & PPT
- Strong analytical and documentation management skills
