Priority 1 - Duty Monitor consumer, category and % of Time 15% competitive trends and identify gaps in the market that provide opportunities for profitable and sustainable volume and value growth. Basis this, design and align the marketing calendar for the region. Provide input into the region's annual business plan.

Priority 2 - Duty Ensure that all the planned national % of Time 30% marketing initiatives are effectively executed and strictly adhere in all aspects to company standards. Ensure that all the planned local marketing initiatives are aligned with the bottler/brand teams, designed and executed and strictly adhere in all aspects to company standards.

Priority 3 - Duty Develop a thorough understanding of % of Time 20% various channels, design strategies and recommend programs which enable us to realize optimum value across all channels. Execute those channel relevant programs in order to achieve stated volume & value targets and increase consumption among targeted consumer groups.

Priority 4 - Duty Ensure DME is invested as per approved % of Time 10% plans. Continuously review and monitor marketing spends at the region. Have a continuous learning outlook and suggest ways to optimise plans, programs and spends to create maximum impact in the market. Apply best practice guidelines in the area of product, package and promotion whilst implementing marketing activities. Liaise with vendors and suppliers and ensure that elements required to execute marketing programs are as per requirements, cost effective and strictly adhere to company standards.

Priority 5 - Duty Own and deliver on new launches in the % of Time 10% region with impactful on-air as well as on-ground execution, working closely with brand teams, supply chain as well as local bottler teams.

Priority 6 - Duty Drive customer relationships in key % of Time 15% accounts: lead in the case of local key accounts and assist in the case of national key accounts in collaboration with the national key accounts team
