About the Job:

As a Senior Manager in Wealth Management for Portfolio Management Services (PMS) at an Asset Management Company (AMC), you will be responsible for driving client acquisition, managing relationships, and expanding market share.

Your role will involve both strategic and hands-on tasks to ensure client satisfaction and organizational growth.

Key Accountabilities:

New Client Acquisition & Activation:

- Drive efforts to acquire new clients and reactivate inactive clients (revive dead folios).

- Follow up on and convert leads provided by the Corporate Acquisition Team.

Client and AUM Management:

- Manage existing client relationships to build and enhance Assets Under Management (AUM).

- Provide high-level client servicing, including hand-holding through transactions for new and existing clients.

Client & Distributor Relationship Building:

- Develop long-term relationships with key and potential distributors to generate repeat business.

- Expand market share through servicing both new and existing clients.

Sales & Cross-Selling:

- Upsell and cross-sell across various asset classes to corporates and their promoters.

- Promote and activate online accounts for corporate clients.

Market Intelligence & Networking:

- Actively network with clients, competitors, and distributors to gather market insights.

- Provide timely information on products to distributors and ensure market share targets are met.

Compliance & Coordination:

- Ensure adherence to compliance norms of both the organization and regulatory bodies.

- Coordinate with Operations to follow up on pending documents and maintain data on market share.

Investor & Distributor Interaction:

- Participate in joint meetings with distributors to address investor needs and queries.

Data Management:

- Regularly review and maintain data related to market share and client interactions.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience: Proven track record in wealth management, client servicing, and business development within the financial services industry, particularly in PMS.

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, distributors, and internal teams.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, client needs, and product performance.

- Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance and industry norms.

- Networking: Strong networking skills with a focus on relationship building and market expansion.
