The incumbent will be a part of Client's Middle Office Group based in Hyderabad. The group supports trading activities around various investment products like equity, fixed income, futures, currency, swaps and other exotic derivatives. Primary responsibilities include managing and reviewing the following processes:
- Transactions and reference data including trade booking/amendment process.
- On boarding new clients on to the Company's platform.
- Capturing corporate actions.
- Modeling new asset classes.
- Reference data exceptions.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Driving strategic initiatives and acting as a central point of contact for assigned processes and projects.
- Reviewing workflows and operating procedures and implementing process improvements.
- Working closely with other team managers to address operational issues.
- Interacting with relevant IT teams to resolve any technical issues and ensure optimum performance of the platform & processes.
- Leading the team to deliver the work product that is accurate and timely in its execution.
The ideal candidate must have an MBA/ Graduate & CFA experience with 10-12 years of relevant prior experience in managing people, handling processes, and projects. Sound knowledge of the asset management industry with a good understanding of Geneva, SQL and various investment products like equities, fixed income, derivatives, etc. would be an added advantage. The candidate should have in-depth experience in the various stages of a trade life cycle, and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, management and leadership skills as well as expertise in nurturing an empowered and high-functioning team. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and be able to successfully manage relationships with the Front Office, Back Office and Technology staff/managers.
