We have a leadership opportunity for UX Solution Architect with one of our client for Mumbai location.
Position Summary
A Senior Manager - UX will be accountable for managing deliveries of projects and will also be responsible for team performance. S/he will be responsible for recruiting, training, managing, and mentoring members as well as developing a set of UX and UI Design methodologies, standards and best practices. S/he will be expected to coordinate Usability and UI design creation on multiple projects of complex and diverse scope, identifying creative alternatives. This role will be distinguished by leadership and delivery responsibility of team. The incumbent will also be responsible for planning for training, mentoring, appraising and enhancing career of the people working in the team
Customer Management
- As a part of the UX team the role holder will be required to interface with the client/ end users for performing job responsibilities. S/he will need to present experience architecture to clients (internal and/or external) and manage feedback.
- S/he would be expected to maintain understanding of discipline and industry best practices; stay ahead of the curve and contribute to thought leadership for the discipline and industry. S/he will be expected to execute reviews and develop insights from findings that drive improved experience and present the results to client.
- S/he will need to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to accurately interpret the client's business and/or marketing needs and to ensure the success of proposed solutions.
Pre-Sales Support
- Responding to proposals, solutioning from a User Experience perspective, Review and evaluating and estimating efforts will also be a part of his/ her role.
Technical Understanding
- The incumbent should be a result oriented and independent worker with out of the box and independent thinking capability. S/he Should be able to assess requirements and translate them into tangible outcomes.
- S/he Should be able to conduct task analysis, usability tests, heuristic evaluations, cognitive walkthroughs, site visits, focus groups and related user research and expert reviews.
- S/he is expected to guide and perform user testing on prototypes and software builds, design and model user interfaces prototypes, Create and visualize intuitive interface design for solutions proposed, support translation of interface design to interactive interfaces while generating relevant documentation to support Usability tests and also development efforts. This includes design documentation and specifications.
- Generate reusable artifacts as part of internal initiatives and also introduce new technologies and emerging trends in user interfaces and user experience approaches in the company.
- S/he will define quality processes; report quality associated metrics and ensures standards are adhered to for the entire life cycle of the project. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to deliver on time and work under deadline pressure
