Senior Manager - User Experience & User Interface - Media/Entertainment

We are looking for a Sr. Manager - User Experience & User Interface with a Media/Entertainment Industry

Location - Mumbai

Duties & Responsibilities

- Work closely with product, business, and developers to understand requirements and translate them to designers.

- Understanding complex customer and business problem statements, user journeys, and flows. scenarios

- Align UI-UX vision and activities with business goals.

- Research and develop new user experience/user interface ideas, particularly for video consumption platforms.

- Provide UX & design recommendations based on analytics, customer feedback, and best practices.

- Manage & work closely with partner & in-house designers and delivery project managers to fulfill project requirements & day to day tasks.

- Learning and growing in the UX space by also thinking about the user journeys or creating quick Lo-Fi wireframes & Hi-Fi wireframes

- Get insights from customers that can translate to a design enhancement/ solution.

- Deliver detailed design flows and specifications, ensuring product excellence throughout the product development and implementation process.

- Present User Flows, Wireframes, and Prototypes to communicate your ideas and concepts effectively to a large group of stakeholders.

- Keeping in mind the UI UX principles & design science while creating and the own selling design concepts using the same

- Ensure the delivery, upkeep, and improvements of excellent user experiences and interfaces for video-based digital products and platforms that are used by many millions of users.

- Drive and advocate for product excellence by upholding industry best practices, usability standards, and regular cross-functional reviews.

- Accurately scope and plan deliverables and timelines. Work towards deadlines, within a dynamic environment.

- Validate ideas and designs through user testing.

- Open to iterative critique, feedback, and co-creative workflows with internal & external stakeholders.

- Look at analytics and come up with data-driven design decisions.

- Building talent by mentoring & managing the in-house designers working on this platform

Personal Attributes & Skill Sets

- Passionate about simplifying users' life through UI UX.

- Thorough understanding of UX processes and methodologies

- Experience or comfort in working with Tools like Figma, Jira, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin, etc.

- Up to date with the latest innovations in the digital world

- Understanding OTT Apps, Video consumption platforms, Online Utility & shopping Apps & Websites

- Bringing ideas to life, not defined by boundaries, always willing to try new things, fail fast, and learn quickly.

- Understanding of the mobile app ecosystem in terms of Native Vs. Hybrid, SDKs, the need of designing differently for various platforms and devices

- Know-how of device-specific design - Mobile Vs. Web Vs. Tablet Vs. TV

- Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Analytics

- Good at UX copywriting

- Co-ordination skills with multiple diverse stakeholders in a structured, procedural enterprise environment

- Ability to Multi-task and work on multiple projects and journeys
