Position Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work products.

- Review and evaluate audit programs, testing procedures, and workpapers to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

- Provide guidance and supervision to audit team members, including assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing feedback and coaching.

- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, discussing audit findings, and providing recommendations for process improvements.

- Collaborate with senior management to develop audit strategies, identify risks, and prioritize audit objectives.

- Stay current on emerging accounting and auditing issues, regulations, and best practices, and ensure their incorporation into audit methodologies.

- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of audit staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and networking events.

- Complete general audit procedures including coordination of audit closing communications, drafting of client correspondence, resolving open issues, and preparing financial statements as directed by Crete.

- Ability to effectively use Financial and Audit software (both common to the industry and proprietary).

- Listening and understanding clearly with your engagement team the client's engagement expectations (deadlines, deliverables, and documentation, etc.).

- Ability to follow Crete's processing, procedures, and protocols.

- Provides supporting documentation as requested by Crete PA services in a professional manner.

- Communicates proactively following defined communication protocols for issue identification, escalation, and resolution.

- Meet and/or exceeds minimum performance standards as defined.

- Adequately completes all Crete PA and partner-provided learning, regulatory and compliance training activities.

- Comfortable receiving performance feedback and coaching

- Maintains customer confidentiality.
