The firm successfully trades a number of different strategies in a variety of markets. We have an extremely high-performance network that processes a vast amount of financial information in real time. As a Team Manager - Transaction Data, your responsibilities will include:
Developing the transactional infrastructure, connecting to data feeds from different exchanges and data vendors
Leading the company's Transactional data master development team based in Gurgaon
Interacting with trading teams and users to understand their requirements and provide technological solution
Architect large scale data solutions (millions of transactions per day) with emphasis on performance and reliability.
Build a data warehouse to manage different reporting requirement for Finance, Accounting and Compliance functions.
Validating data changes in the transaction master and building UI-based workflow solutions to operational support.
Playing a key role in the hiring efforts for the team and product
Preparing a technical roadmap and communicating the status to stakeholders on a periodic basis.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have:
10-15 years of experience in Java, Python and SQL with atleast 5 years- experience of managing small sized teams
Hands-on experience in having built and managed large-scale data systems, with good understanding of web based solutions
Significant experience of dealing with of RDBMS and NOSQL solutions with enormous data volume
Experience in Angular JC, JavaScript, version control (git) and html (a plus)
Prior work experience in Finance and an understanding of financial instruments (equities, debt instruments, futures, and options) and trade life cycle
A degree in computer science or a related field
Good written and oral communication skills
