Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for providing the strategic inputs for Channel Sales strategy, Distributor Strategy etc. The prestigious programmes such as WoW (Ways of Working), IT systems & Analytics are also important deliverables for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To provide the strategic inputs for overall Channel Sales strategy.

2. Drive the Root to Market activities with effective implementation of Distributor partnership Programmes

3. Drive the Mechanic, Retailer partnership programmes.

4. Driver the WoW (Ways of working) for the entire Channel Sales with close working with the Regional Heads for effective implementation.

5. Drive the Sales Automation initiatives for the team & Channel Partners with understanding the constraints in implementation and resolve by coordinating with respective functions.

6. Support to drive the KPIs for the Channel Sales team along with the close co-ordinate with HR to roll out the incentive programmes for the Channel Sales teams.

7. Ensure the effective demand planning (part of S & OP process) processes are in place & help sales teams to improve the forecast accuracy.

8. Team management & team development.

9. Budget & budgetary control.

Education:

Essential: Must be at least graduate in Engineering from a reputed university / institution with Post Graduation in Management with relevant experience in Lubricant Industry.

Experience:

At least 14 to 18 yrs. of experience in Lubricants, Chemicals or Automobile Industry. Should have experience in managing the similar profile at strategic level at least for 3 to 5 years.

Competencies:

The individual should have high degree of bias toward analytical skills and strong integrity for driving the strategic agenda.

- In depth knowledge of Industry, Products, Indian Market conditions

- Good understanding of Sales process automation

- Good understanding of S & OP process

- Expert analytical and data interpretation skills

- Good communication, negotiations and presentation skills

- Good interpersonal skills

- Good team management skills
