Position : Sr Sales Manager- Technology sales, South Asia (IND, PAK, B- desh, SL, Nepal etc)
- Amagi is disrupting broadcast media with its Content distribution, Content management and Channel play-out products. We are looking for a Sr. Sales Manager to lead sales of products as mentioned above to broadcasters across India.
Key Responsibilities :
- Reach customers (broadcasters) in the region for the sale of the company's Products and Services
- Front-end requirements detailing with customers and effectively communicate this to internal teams
- Debate and detail various technical solution options suitable for a customer
- Front-end response to RFIs and proposal requests from customers with due support from internal teams
- Account management with existing customers in the region
- Gather market intelligence and customer inputs and provide feedback to strategy and technology teams within the organization
- Effectively communicate and report on progress with various sales activities in the region
- Identify and structure partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the value chain
- Front-end and manage trade-shows and other events necessary to enhance sales of the company
Experience required :
- 5+ years experience in selling technology products and services. An engineering experience early in career is preferred.
- Prior experience working for Play out Service Provider (or) Prior experience with working for a tier-1 technology vendor to the broadcast industry is preferred
- Track recording of closing deals successfully with both large and small broadcasters
- Extensive network and contacts within the broadcast community is preferred
- Rich context of the business, technology and services landscape in relation to Channel Origination, Channel Delivery and Channel Play out
- A basic understanding and context of various technologies and systems used by broadcasters
