Position Summary:

Senior Manager - TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

Digital Innovations & Transformation | Technology R&D (IT)

Duties and Responsibilities:

The role is not a pure software development role but requires strong program management skills & technical skills will be a value addition. Management of Technology R&D | Business Innovation programs for stake holders (includes business,IT)

1. Program management of R&D programs - Proactive & Reactive

2. Strong interactions skills across partners and internal teams (business, IT, IT PMO, IT infrastructure, CISO)

3. Technical & techno-business mentoring to the team

4. The Research and Development team member conducts research and development activities to meet organizational needs and to capitalize on potential new product, service opportunities

5. Should demonstrate knowledge of product features and ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production

6. Researches new technologies that align the development function with the goals of the organization

Demonstrate knowledge of methods and tools of research and development and ability to conduct daily and strategic work in an organization's research and development department

Mandatory Skills

1. Hands-on Project Management experience - PMP /Certified Agile

2. Strong communication (verbal & written) skills and ability to quickly grasp concepts and drive with agility as independent developer

3. Self-starter/Able to drive with minimal follow-up

4. Technology knowledge is key (not business analyst or business analysis)

5. Coverage areas as defined in management & operations

R&D Task Level Operations / Activities

1. Preparing and managing research and development, evaluating solutions and technologies

2. Research and be well aware of latest trends and technologies in Fintech / BFSI / Synergy areas

3. Demonstrate functional, technical or process awareness

4. Creates and introduces new techniques that expedite or simplify the development process

5. Helping senior management and internal clients to understand the results and implications of research and development initiatives.

6. Designs working prototypes of a variety of proposed products or services

7. Develops proof-of-concept exercises to prove or disprove validity of proposed products

8. Designs working prototypes of a variety of proposed products or services

9. Ability to roll-up sleeves/ hands on nature is key

10. Monitor's any developments in the research area and work out how these may affect the organization

11. Technical Interactions with vendors or partners in technical capacity for deliverables (proof of concept etc.)

Nice to have

1. Ability to code / setup demo and proof of concepts in the following technology areas as well as emerging context. The key skill is the ability to quickly develop technology concepts and understand the vendor or partner solutions

2.Android & iPhone development, R language, Apache Stack, Bigdata, Cloud Models - AWS/ Azure/ Other, Devops model, IIS, SQL, Oracle

3.Ability to pick up code/technology fast (with good quality)

- Post graduate from a leading institute with Experience minimum 8+ years of having leveraged technology for achieving KPI's and driving technology innovation (BE./B.Tech/MCA/B.Tech+MBA)

- Strong ownership

- Hands on technology project/ program management experience (large 2 years+ with engagements with strong contributions) - Hands-on Project Management experience - PMP /Agile Certified

- Strong passion for technology with breadth of technical knowledge

- Market analysis and opportunity identification, strategic insight with customer-focused innovation

- Great communication and collaboration skills with ability to influence without authority

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with drive for excellence
