Senior Manager - Technology - Biztalk - SOA Framework

Job Summary: To provide solutions on BizTalk and SOA Framework and lead a team

Primary Responsibilities:

This role requires producing solution design and documentation for complex enterprise applications with expert attention to all architectural qualities in mind for various line-of-business applications

This role requires extensive experience in architecting and deploying web-based and web-enabled business applications, and must possess hands-on experience in deploying distributed architectures and platforms, creating benchmark tests, designing for scalability and performance, and implementing large-scale vendor systems

Managing a team of architects governing Solution Architecture Practice processes and guidelines

Drive innovation of solutions to support future business / technology needs

Manage Innovation- Team to architect and develop Proof of Concepts

Review and approve application architectures, which define and outline the design constraints, UML models, quality attributes, and detailed design specifications, toward ensuring that architecture standards and best practices are followed and that the design aligns with the business objectives

Responsible for defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection, lead application technology procurement, and determining technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design

In-depth understanding of .NET frameworks, including ASP.NET, C#

Hands on experience & in-depth knowledge on SQL Server 2008 / 2012 / 2014 with TSQL / SSIS / SSRS

Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), its principles, and patterns at enterprise level

Experience Guidelines:

Mandatory Skills

SharePoint, SOAP and RESTful Web Services, .NET, SQL Server, SSRS

Experience with architecting enterprise solutions based on web services

Expertise in design/implementation of enterprise workflow systems, distributed and intranet/internet architecture

Experience in developing of IT architecture plans and software development methodologies

Adept negotiation skills in high-pressure situations

Experience in providing Integration solutions based on SOA and BizTalk design patterns

Knowledge of automated deployment process using MSBuild, BTDF, BTS Tasks etc.

Good knowledge of BizTalk best practices and BizTalk design patterns

Experience with C#, ASP.Net, Web Services, XML, XSLT, XSD, BizTalk adapters

Understanding and translating BizTalk server error messages

Desirable Skills

Should have at least 12+ years of overall work experience including technical and lead roles on Microsoft technologies, along with good understanding of OOPS concepts, application support and architecture

Should have at least 10+ years of experience in BizTalk Server 2006 R2, 2009, 2010 or 2013 using Orchestrations, Pipelines, Mappings, and custom Adapters

Education: BE/B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech

Projects this role will support:

Internal projects to support all applications

Reports to: Director, Enterprise Applications

Direct reports: 5-6 reports including Associates & Senior Associates.

Location: The role is based in Gurgaon
